Vietnamese Rice Noodle Bowl with Shrimp
This recipe was a very new concept for me. I have never made Vietnamese food before, however I love to eat it. I never cooked it because it was intimidating to me. I got this recipe from Food Magazine and it turned out great mirroring the flavors I have had in Vietnamese food. My kitchen smelled like this little restaurant I like to go to called Pho Grand. If your interested in trying out something new, fresh, and healthy check this one out!
I did alter a few things…
- I omitted the red lettuce
- Added 5 sliced scallions
- sautéed the carrots before mixing all ingredients together
