Kitchen Tip: Marinating Meat
When getting ready to grill any type of meat a 30 minute marinade is a great way to increase flavor and texture. The most effective way to marinate is to put the meat in a Ziploc bag, add the marinade, and squeeze as much air out as you can. Then massage the seasoning and liquid into the meat. The bag acts as a barrier and enables you to make sure all sides and crevasses of the meat have the flavor you’re trying to achieve. You should periodically rotate the bag and massage the ingredients.
