Kitchen Tip- Fresh Garlic
Garlic is the most common flavor enhancer used. I put garlic in almost every recipe I make. I love it because you can be as bold or subtle as you want. However fresh garlic is very important to use versus the pre-minced or crushed garlic in the glass jar. I have read a few articles about the jarred garlic and it’s disturbing. It can be really old, peeled with an air blaster (taking away the flavor), or even bleached to maintain the whiteness. I know fresh garlic is sticky and smells very strong but if you get a garlic press, it makes using fresh garlic really easy.
So throw out the jar and start using fresh!
