Asian Carrot Zoodles
A new way to look at carrots is to turn them into noodles. It is a much healthier alternative to pasta as a side dish. I used an Asian flare with this dish but there could be many variations…it’s up to you.
4 large whole carrots peeled
1 clove garlic crushed
2 T soy sauce
sesame seeds for topping
Using your Zoodle maker or vegetable spiral machine
process your carrots into a bowl
Pre heat a non stick pan to medium high heat. Add your carrots with the garlic and sauté for 6-7 minutes. The carrots should provide enough moisture to prevent sticking however, if they start to stick you can add a little bit of water to the pan. Add your soy sauce and top with sesame seeds.
